Villa
Giselle in St. Martin - A Caribbean Paradise
This magnificent new villa named Giselle is perched on a gentle hillside overlooking Plum Bay and the Anguillan Channel where the large cruise ships float by. Built in 2002, Giselle is located in Terres Basses, one of the few gated communities in the Caribbean featuring 2 1/2 acre home sites. The community is gated as is the villa property.
The view of the Caribbean is 180 degrees with fluffy
sailboats plying the blue waters during the day and giant cruise
ships in the distance at night under a blanket of stars.
Giselle has four master bedrooms all with bathrooms enb suite and all the same size (there is no disputing as to who gets the biggest or smallest bedroom or the one with the best view. All four of these bedrooms as well as the kitchen, dining room and lounge have a spectacular 180 degree view of the sea. There is a fifth bedroom on another level.
As you enter your view is across a wonderfully furnished
lounge, through a 30 foot open doorway, across a sheltered veranda,
a hot tub and a heated swimming pool. That’s right, heated,
one of the very few on the island; you might
need it if the temperature at night dips into the low 70’s.
And the pool is large enough for some exercise if you are so inclined
or simply lounge by it and drink in the view.

The kitchen opens up to the outside. The dining room
is outside under roof. There is a large television outside and plenty of
space so everyone can go off for his or her own peace and quiet
or gather in one of the lounges or at the kitchen counter for
conversation. The joy of villas over hotels is the space they
provide over and above your bedroom. However luxurious a hotel
lobby may be it will still be thronged with strangers and as you
get ready for a swim you might not want to be viewed by strangers.
It is perfectly possible for a group of friends, family or acquaintances
to live virtually separate existences or to enjoy times together;
you set the program.
You can go to a different restaurant every night
for a year and never repeat yourself or on some nights you can
hire a chef to prepare meals.
The bedrooms are air conditioned or
you can enjoy the breeze. It seems there is always just enough
breeze up here - one of the enormous advantages of being on a
rolling hillside. Each bedroom/bath suite is like a separate cottage
connected with a common roof and veranda opening onto the pool
and the terrace.
There is a local phone line and a VOiP phone line for free calls to and from the states; we have free wireless high speed internet.
The advantage of a villa like this is that it is
spacious. It easily sleeps 10 in considerable style so a group
of friends or an extended family can rent it even in high season
and yet the cost to any of the individual couples would be about
what they would pay for a week in a condo in Florida.
Giselle’s newly upgraded, heated pool and spa on the spacious terrace overlooks Plum Bay Beach and the sumptuous setting sun. This superb, newly constructed private home has a 180º view of the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean and is but a short walk to the beach.
All four air-conditioned, king-size bedrooms are equal sized and open directly onto the terrace and are graced with ocean views. The en-suite deluxe bathrooms also have walk-in closets.
The spacious indoor and outdoor living areas offer ideal opportunities for relaxing and entertaining, complete with the gourmet kitchen and covered outdoor dining area with gas BBQ. Connection to reality is maintained with a WIFI internet connection, fax machine and US telephone line.
This wonderful vacation retreat also offers a 5th self contained bedroom, perfect for a nanny or staff ‘travelling with’ or teenagers looking for a shade of independence.
The magic is sealed as the sun romantically sinks beyond the horizon after another perfect day, illuminated by the colorful fibre-optic highlights in the pool and spa.

Most reservations are for 7 days, however we pro rate to adjust
to the number of days or weeks you wish to stay. (this might help you
get a better airfaire) We'd like to help answer your question
and tell you about our island, Steven B. and Gisela call 1-800-736-4900 or
(international) 513-755-7300. At little over $200 per couple per day in the summer or a little over $300 per couple per day in the winter,
a "seven sunset" vacation for eight guests would only
cost between $5,900 and $8,900 depending on the season. In the summer we accept reservations at a special 2 bedroom rate of $3,900, if booked no less than 45 days in advance.*Christmas-New Year - The period of Christmas-New Year is $14,500 per week with a minimum stay*. A fifth bedroom can be available on another level at the villa. Contact
us today to get a customized rate based on the number of sunsets
and number of guests in your party.
A good hotel with our view and our amenities would
cost more but you would be without the privacy, the luxury, and
the space. In fact, just 5 minutes away in our same gated area
is the famed La Semana Hotel with rates of about $600 per night
per room.
The vast majority of luxury villas are on the French
side and the better ones are in this gated area. You will find
that almost everything on the island is within a 20 minute ride.
Giselle is available for almost any number of days…a
week, a month or a season. To be in touch in America our number
is (800) 736 4900 or from outside the U. S. (513) 755 7300 or
email us. We would love to host you
for the vacation of a lifetime; something that you will then be
likely to repeat year after year. Many have.
